Beverage Photo


If you are new to photography, and have interest in photographing food or dish, here are some basic techniques that can be used with a fairly easy and inexpensive to photograph food.
The following simple technique is the key to any food photography, and is used by most photographers to take pictures of food.


Exposure

Do not use frontal flash are on the subject, using the flash from the front will eliminate the texture on the subject of food. In food photography, texture is what must be achieved.
Use lighting from the side or back, it gives the impression of depth in your photos, help provide an interesting perspective of the viewer's eyes to what is your focus.
Natural lighting, the sun, to work well with the position as above, too. However, not just any place can be used appropriately, especially when shooting indoors, or if you have a window that is not facing the light position.
The simple technique is to use a small mirror to focus the light on certain parts of the plate to help reduce harsh shadows or to draw attention to the area you want in your composition.


Composition Tips

The important thing is, the food used to shoot must always fresh. This means checking defects in fruit and vegetables or garnishes, make sure the items are not too wet, burnt or mushy. Small imperfections will easily degrade the overall appearance of your photo.
Arrange compositions according to the camera you use. This means constantly check the viewfinder or LCD to see how the camera sees your presentation. For example, if you use kameradigital SLR with the lens, it will be seen that the camera perspective may be different from your eyes.
